David Izel Williams Sr.

Greenwood, SC- David Izel Williams Sr., 64, of 220 Auld Road North, widower of Effie Williams departed this walk of life on Saturday, August 9, 2025, at his home. Born in Greenwood, South Carolina, he is the son of Izel Arnold and the late Eliza Ann Williams Coleman.

He leaves to cherish his memories, one son, David (Danyell) Williams Jr. of Greenwood, SC; his father, Izel (Vernell) Arnold of Hodges, SC; one brother, Frank Coleman of Pelzer, SC; five sisters, Carolyn Hurley, Norma Jean Harrison, and Brenda (Gary) Norman all of Greenwood, SC, Melissa (Anthony) Leach of Aiken, SC, and Soundra Roosevelt Williams of Saluda, SC; two grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

Services will be 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, August 17, 2025, at the Chapel of Robinson & Son Mortuary, Inc, Officiating will be Dr. Cheryl Simmons. Viewing will be from 12:00- 2:00 P.M.
