David Duncan Sr.

McCormick, SC- David Duncan Sr., 78, of 204 Holiday Road, transitioned from earth to heaven on Tuesday, March 14, 2023, at Self Regional Healthcare. Born in McCormick, South Carolina, he was the son of the late Jim Duncan and the late Mary Ellen Moore. His religion is of the Baptist Faith.

He leaves to cherish his memories, two sons, David Duncan Jr. of Hartford, CT, and David Duncan of Greenwood, SC; four daughters, Renarda Duncan of Greenwood, SC, Sharon Murray of Jacksonville, FL, Bettie Brown, and Marilyn Middleton both of Greenwood, SC; one brother, Jimmy (Awa) Duncan of Greenwood, SC; one sister, Vera Sprowl of Greenwood, SC; eight grandchildren; Eleven great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

Services will be 3:00 P.M. on Sunday, March 19, 2023, at the chapel of Robinson & Son Mortuary, Inc, conducted by Bishop Emmanuel Spearman. Burial will follow in the Evening Star Cemetery. Viewing will be from 1-6 p.m. Saturday, March 18, 2023, at Robinson and Son Mortuary, Inc. Please be mindful and practice social distancing and wear a mask.
