Hodges, SC- Curtis Thomas Sr., 79, of 3618 Connor Road, husband of Geneva E. Sweeney Thomas, entered into eternal rest on Monday, October 14, 2024, at Piedmont Post Acute. Born in Abbeville, South Carolina, he was the son of the late William Jones, and the late Rebie Mae Lewis Harris. Curtis was raised by his aunt Allie Mae Tinch in Abbeville, South Carolina. A member of Bethlehem Baptist Church, where he served as a Deacon, former Trustee of “LRMBA”, a member of the Black Cats motorcycle club, a Veteran of the United States Army, Anderson Veteran Organization, and J.S. Wright High School Graduate & Alumni.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his loving wife Geneva E. Thomas of the home; one son, Curtis Thomas Jr. of the home; one daughter, Tivolli (Antoine Neal) Brown of Charlotte, NC; two sisters, Johnnie Mae Harris of Greenville, SC, and Dorothy Frambro of Detroit, MI; three grandchildren; six great grandchildren; a goddaughter, Tammy Lyons;and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Services will be 12:00 P.M. on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, at Little River Multicultural Center, conducted by Rev. Robert Heflin. Viewing will be from 1-6 p.m. Monday, October 21, 2024, at Robinson and Son Mortuary, Inc. Burial will be Friday, October 25, 2024 at 10:00 A.M. at M.J. “Dolly” Cooper Veterans Cemetery, located in Anderson, SC. Online condolences may be sent to robson@nctv.com.
