Colby Deron Simpson

Greenwood, SC- Colby Deron Simpson, 49, of 146 Canyon Drive, husband of Tuneaka Cowen Simpson, departed this walk of life on Sunday, August 3, 2025, at Self Regional Healthcare. Born in Florida he was the son of the late Charlie Simpson and the late Ethel Gilbert Simpson. He is preceded in death by a brother, Eric Simpson, and his Mother-in-law, Elaine Mansel.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife Tuneaka Simpson of the home; four sons, Jamerrius Simpson and Jamauri both of Cocoa, FL, Emory Brown Jr. and Tykevious Brown both of Greenwood, SC; two daughters, Taquoia Simpson of the home and Kadreka Brown of Greenwood, SC; two brothers, Todd Simpson and Donovan Gilbert both of Cocoa, FL; two sisters, Buffy Simpson and Tara Simpson both of Cocoa, FL; a special niece, Navashia Ingram; his father-in-law, James Drennon of Greenwood, SC; ten grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

Services will be 3:00 P.M. on Sunday, August 10, 2025, at Faith Christian Center, conducted by Apostle Alvin Deal. Burial will follow in the Evening Star Cemetery. Viewing will be from 1-6 p.m. Saturday, August 9, 2025, at Robinson and Son Mortuary, Inc. The family are at the home. Online condolences may be sent to robson@nctv.com.
