Christine Gladney Durant

Christine Gladney Durant, 71, of 304 Belle Oaks Drive, wife of Alfred Durant. entered into eternal rest on Friday, August 26, 2022, at her home. Born in Ninety-Six, South Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Dennis Gladney, and the late Chaney Williams Gladney. She was a member of Faith Christian Center, and is preceded in death by a son, Tracey Gladney; five brothers, Willie Gladney, Bobby Gladney, Robert Gladney, Allen Gladney and Johnny Gladney and three grandchildren; Predoris Childs, Prenquavious Childs, and Carnell Durant.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her loving husband of 46 Years, Alfred Durant of the home; one son, Chris Durant of Charlotte, NC; one daughter, Angela (Timothy) Durant of Greenwood; one brother, Eugene Gladney of Edgefield; five sisters, Julia Parkman of Edgefield, Maggie (Moses) Davis of Saluda, Renet Moore of Philadelphia, PA, Helen (Jerry) Boyd of Johnson, and Jennifer Gladney of Greenwood; four grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

Services will 12:00 PM on, September 3, 2022, at Faith Christian Center, conducted by Rev. Ronnie Parkman, burial will follow at Antioch Baptist Church. Viewing will be from 1-6 p.m. Friday, September 2, 2022, at Robinson and Son Mortuary, Inc.
