Charles Watson

Greenwood, SC- Charles Watson, 67, of 1401 Cooper Avenue, transitioned from earth to heaven on Tuesday, January 24, 2023, at his home. Born in Greenwood, South Carolina, he was the son of the late James Dennis Watson, and the late Beatrice Gertrude Coleman Watson. He was a member of True Vine Progressive Church. He is preceded in death by four brothers, Jim Watson, Larry Watson, Sammie Watson, and Joe L. Watson; and three sisters, Dorothy Watson, Frances Morgan, and Mary Watson.

He leaves to cherish his memories, two brothers, Thomas (Dorothy) Watson, and David Watson both of Greenwood; six sisters, Patricia McGee of Greenwood, Pearline Jennings of Troy, SC, Geneva Cobb, Beatrice Jones, Mary Robinson, and Shirley Wilson all of Greenwood, SC; and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

Services will be 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, February 4, 2023, at the chapel of Robinson & Son Mortuary, Inc, conducted by Elder Rufus Jennings. Viewing will be from 1-3 p.m. Friday, February 3, 2023, at Robinson and Son Mortuary, Inc. Please be mindful and practice social distancing and wear a mask.
