Cathy Holloway Pope

Cathy Holloway Pope, 67, of 104 Stone Haven Drive, departed this walk of life on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at her home. She was born in Ninety-Six, South Carolina and was the daughter of the late Rufus “Bubba” Hill and the late Joseph Holloway, and Mrs. Bobbie Etta Thompson Holloway.

Cathy was a faithful member of Pleasant Rock Baptist Church, where she served as an usher and choir member until her health began to decline.

She was preceded in death by her father Rufus “Bubba” Hill and Joseph Holloway and her brother Larry Harris.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories: her devoted mother, Bobbie Etta Holloway of Ninety Six, S.C.; one son, Larry Franklin (Andrea) Pope, Jr. of Virginia Beach, Virginia; two daughters, Katrina Dayan Pope of Greenwood and Latoya Danyelle (Clarence) Pope Young of Simpsonville; two sisters, Veronica “Cherry” Holloway of Greenwood and Felicia Holloway of Simpsonville; seventeen grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends who will mourn her passing.

Funeral services for Ms. Cathy Pope will be held on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at 1:00 P.M. at Pine Pleasant Baptist Church, with Reverend Christopher Gantt, Officiating, burial will follow at Evening Star Cemetery. Public viewing will be held on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, from 1:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. at Robinson & Son Mortuary. Online condolences may be sent to robson@nctv.com. The family is at the home.
