Carrie Lee Outz Harrison, 95, of 906 Anderson Street, widow of Tommy Lewis, and Hollie Harrison, gained her angel wings on Sunday, June 25, 2023, at her home. Born in Greenwood, South Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Johnny “Buster” Outz, and the late Emma Thomas Outz. She was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church.
She leaves to cherish her memories, one son, Wallace (Dainah) Lewis of Greenwood; two daughters, Bertha (Nelson) Mason of Greenwood and Nell Wells of Ninety Six; eighteen grandchildren; thirty-seven great-grandchildren; thirty great-great-grandchildren; a special niece, Mary McCauley of Greenwood; and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Services will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 1, 2023, at Mt. Olive Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. Adrian Wideman. Body will be placed in the church at 1 p.m., burial will follow in the church cemetery. Viewing will be from 1-6 p.m. Friday, June 30, 2023, at Robinson and Son Mortuary, Inc.
