Carolyn Marshall Nelson

Carolyn Marshall Nelson, 71, of 215 Smythe Avenue, gained her angel wings on Saturday, July 22, 2023, at Self Regional Healthcare. Born in Greenwood, South Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Henry Stidom and the late Mary Marshall. She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church, and Grendel Mill Village Community.

She leaves to cherish her memories, one daughter, Marisha Nelson of Greenwood, SC; three sisters, Tammy Minyard and Audrey Towns, both of Greenwood, SC, and Eugenia (Kevin) Bell of New Braunfels, TX; one grandchild, Khaliyah Williams of Greenwood, SC; and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

Services will be 11 a.m. Friday, July 28, 2023 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, in Coronaca, conducted by Rev. Joseph R. Caldwell. Viewing will be from 1-6 p.m. Thursday, July 27, 2023, at Robinson and Son Mortuary, Inc. Please be mindful and practice social distancing and wear a mask.
