Carolyn Jean Davis

Honea Path, SC- Carolyn Jean Davis, 65, of 308 East Hampton Avenue, gained her angel wings on Friday, February 7, 2025, at AnMed Medical Center. Born in Greenwood County, South Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Marzel Davis Sr. and the late Mildred Bowie Davis. She was a member of Mt. Olive A.M.E. Church, where she served as a Sunday School Teacher.

She leaves to cherish her memories, one son, Alvin Tate of Anderson, SC; one daughter, Yashica Tate of Greenwood, SC; one brother, James Graham of Abbeville, SC; two sisters, Deborah Cade of Donalds, SC and Annie Lee McClinton Hill of Abbeville, SC; nine grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

Services will be 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at Mt. Zion A.M.E. Church on Hodges, South Carolina, conducted by Rev. Carrie Samuel. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
