Bettie Jean Peterson Gray

Greenwood, SC- Bettie Jean Peterson Gray, 77, of 213 Lanham Street, departed this walk of life on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at Self Regional Healthcare. Born in Virginia, she was the daughter of the late James Peterson and the late Beatrice Dean Peterson. She was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness. She is preceded in death by one son, Reginald M. Gray and one brother, Bobby Peterson.

She leaves to cherish her memories, one son, Lavon (Charlee Michelle) Gray of Greenwood, SC; three sisters, Yvonne (Joe) Peterson Norman of McCormick, SC, Gwen (Jimmy) Peterson Moates of Cokesbury, SC, and Veronica (Paul) Peterson Neely of North Carolina; a special friend, James Marion Hackett; nine grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

Services will be 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, February 20, 2025, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness. Viewing will be from 1-6 p.m. Wednesday, February 19, 2025, at Robinson and Son Mortuary, Inc.
