Ms. Bernice Davis, 65, of 103 Iroquois Drive, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at her home. Born in Greenwood County, she was the daughter of the late Aggie Elmore and Leola Davis Hughey.
She was of the Methodist faith and a devoted member of Tranquil A.M.E. Church, where she faithfully served as a Missionary, Choir Member, member of the Kitchen Committee, and as a Trustee.
She was preceded in death by her father and her stepfather, Archie Hughey.
Cherishing her loving memories are her mother, Leola Davis Hughey of Greenwood; sisters, Brenda Davis Hawes of Greenwood, Carolyn (Ernie) Davis of Greenwood, Cathleen Davis of New Jersey, Christine Davis Willingham of Anderson, Mary Hughey Holloway of Greenwood, Tammy Hughey of Greenwood, and Patricia Hughey Williams of Greenville, South Carolina; one half-brother, Anthony (Tiffany) Elmore of Greenwood; her beloved fiancé, Curtis Patterson of McCormick, South Carolina; Step-daughter, Passion Cheatham, two God-Children, Marquis Anderson and Crystal Terry, an aunt Lillie Bell Middleton, a special sister, Sharon (Terrel) Galloway, of Anderson, S.C., and a host nieces, nephews, relatives and friends who will cherish her memory.
Services for Miss Bernice Davis will be held on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Robinson and Son Mortuary, with Rev. Jerry Aiken, Officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Memorial Gardens. There will be no public viewing.
