Barbara Ann Goudy Williams

Ninety Six, SC- Barbara Ann Goudy Williams, 76, of 2424 Golf Course Road, wife of James Williams, transitioned from earth to heaven on Thursday, June 26, 2025, at the Hospice House of Hospice and Palliative Care of the Piedmont. Born in Saluda County, South Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Sherman Goudy and the late Annie Davis Goudy. She was a member of Marshall Chapel Baptist Church, where she served as a Deaconess, Pastor’s Aide, Usher, and Sunday School Superintendent. She is preceded in death by one brother, Sherman Goudy Jr.

She leaves to cherish her memories her husband of “51” years, James M. Williams of the home; two sons, Jason Lamont (Ebonie) Williams of Chapin, SC and Preston Donel Williams of Charlotte, NC; two daughters, Angela M. (Lamont) Deal of Greenwood, SC and Jennifer Renee Williams of Ninety Six, SC; one brother, Thorton Goudy of Atlanta, GA; two sisters, Juanita Goudy of Silver Springs, MD and Cynthia (Graylan) Benefield of McDonald, GA; fourteen grandchildren, two which were reared in the home, Erik Bell and Jaylin Williams; two great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

Services will be 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at Marshall Chapel Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. Eric Morton. Viewing will be from 1-6 p.m. Monday, June 30, 2025, at Robinson and Son Mortuary, Inc. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Marshal Chapel Baptist Church Educational Fund.
