Armery Sanders Obituary

Armery “Catman/Junebug” Sanders 72, entered into eternal rest on Friday November 15, 2024, at the home of his brother Earl Sanders in Augusta, GA. Armery was born on April 10, 1952, in Greenwood County he was the son of the late Frank Hurley and Cora L. Sanders. Armery attended Greenwood County Schools. Armery loved his brothers and hanging out with them, he loved family get togethers. He was preceded in death by his mother & father two brothers Dennis Sanders and Frank Sanders.

Leaving to cherish his most precious memories are his children; a son Grady Thomas of Greenwood, two daughters Wallisa (Harry) Williams- Calhoun, & Teria (Michael) Jackson-Beresford both of Queens, New York two brothers George Sanders, and Bobby Sanders all of Greenwood, SC, Earl Sanders of Augusta, Ga; two sisters Lousie Chalmers of Greenwood, SC and Renee (Curtis) Bovain of New Jersey a special friend Cynthia Carter and a family friend and caregiver Tonya Brown. Armery has one loving Aunt Matie (JB) Lukie of Newberry, SC. He also leaves to cherish his fondest memories of four grandchildren and three great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, November 24, 2024, at the Chapel of Robinson & Son Mortuary, Inc., conducted by Archbishop Emanuel Spearman. The body will be placed in the Chapel at 12:00 Noon for viewing up until time of the service. Viewing will be from 1-3 P.M. on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at Robinson & Son Mortuary. The Family is at the home of his daughter, Wallisa (Harry) Williams- Calhoun, 106 Iroquois Drive, Greenwood, SC "Country Homes".
