Alice Cassandra Gilliam, 72, of 322 North Hodges School Road, widow of John Gilliam, gained her angel wings on Monday, June 9, 2025, at Self Regional Healthcare. Born in Greenwood, South Carolina, she is the daughter of Alice Brooks Goodman, and the late Iris B. Elam.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her mother, Alice Goodman of Greenwood, SC; one daughter, Monica (Charles Henry II) Williams of Hodges, SC; one brother, Ted Goodman of Greenwood, SC; two sisters, Angela Roundtree and Tanya (Gary) Cooper both of Greenwood, SC; a special friend, Larry Dean of Greenwood, SC; three grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Services will be 1:30 P.M. on Sunday, June 15, 2025, at the Chapel of Robinson & Son Mortuary, Inc, conducted by Rev. Johnny Waller. Burial will follow at Greenwood Memorial Gardens. Viewing will be from 1-6 p.m. on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at Robinson and Son Mortuary, Inc. The family will be at the home of a granddaughter, DaBryanna Dean, 201 New Castle Road, Greenwood, South Carolina. Online condolences may be sent to robson@nctv.com.
