Alfred Durant

Greenwood, SC- Alfred Durant, 73, of 304 Belle Oaks Drive West, widower of Christine Durant departed this walk of life on, Sunday, February 19, 2023, at Self Regional Healthcare. Born in McCormick, South Carolina, he was the son of the late Thomas Jennings, and the late Maybelle Durant. He is preceded in death by three grandchildren, Predorius Childs, Carnell Durant, and Qay Childs.

He leaves to cherish his memories, one son, Christopher Durant of Charlotte, NC; one daughter, Angela Durant of Greenwood, SC; four grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

Services will be 12:00 Noon on Saturday, March 4, 2023, at the Chapel of Robinson & Son Mortuary, Inc, conducted by Pastor Ronnie Parkman. Viewing will be from 1-6 p.m. Friday, March 3, 2023, at Robinson and Son Mortuary, Inc. Please be mindful and practice social distancing and wear a mask.
