Albert “Ham” Cunningham, Jr., 71, of 101 McDowell Street, departed this walk of life on Friday, January 30, 2026, at Self Regional Healthcare.
Born in Greenwood, South Carolina, he was the son of the late Albert Cunningham, Sr. and the late Emma Francis Wardlaw Cunningham. He was a faithful member of Mount Tabor Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Ralph Cunningham; two sisters, Linda Lee Allen and Elaine Cunningham; and four brothers-in-law, Rogers Watson, Sr., Leo Allen, Curtis Fulton, and Stanley Jones.
He leaves to cherish his loving memories: one brother, Clyde (Cassandra) Cunningham of Greenwood; five sisters, Mattie Pearl (Sis) Fulton, Gertrude “Molly” Watson, Shirley Jones, and Doris Cunningham, all of Greenwood, and Emma Jean Cunningham of Greenville; three nieces reared in the home, Ember Tasheka Cunningham of Dallas, North Carolina, and Gena Cheron Cunningham and Sierra Cunningham, both of Greenville, South Carolina; one nephew reared in the home, Marcus Clifford Cunningham of Greenville, South Carolina; along with a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will mourn his passing.
Funeral services for Mr. Albert “Ham” Cunningham, Jr. will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at 11:00 A.M. at Mount Tabor Baptist Church, with Reverend Roger L. Rivers, Pastor, officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Memorial Gardens. The body will be placed in the church at 10:00 a.m. Public viewing will be held on Friday, February 6, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. The family is at the home of his sister, Gertrude “Molly” Watson, 300 Long Needle Court, Greenwood.
